BIO

Sydney joined the Banyan team in 2022. She supports the firm in a wide range of matters, including firm administration, client intake, research, and legal drafting. She particularly enjoys drafting employment agreements, severance agreements, and employee handbooks and related policies. She loves learning, tackling the most difficult challenges, working with people, and using her highly organized nature to keep track of details and deadlines in order to bring projects to completion.

Sydney graduated with honors from University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Law and Paralegal Studies and a minor in Psychology. Before transitioning to law, she worked in healthcare and was trained in medical laboratory sciences. Sydney is excited to support our clients by helping them build, expand, and maintain their businesses all while helping them navigate systemic barriers.

Prior to moving to the Seattle area in 2018 for a heart transplant, Sydney spent her whole life in Alaska. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two lazy dogs Winston and Lilly, watching Formula One races, reading, crafting, and volunteering.
